School Climate Survey

 Permanent link

Once again this year, students and parents will be asked to participate in a school climate survey. There are two different surveys for students; one for grades 4-6 and another for grades 7 & 8. The surveys are completely anonymous and they give the school valuable information about strengths and needs. Students will be completing the survey at school on the computers.

Parents will be able to complete the survey at home using the following link: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/UGDSBPARENTS

We are constantly striving to make Willow Road Public School the best it can be. Honest, thoughtful feedback helps us to set goals for improvement and understand the school culture. We will share the results with staff, students and parents when the survey is complete.

Thanks, in advance, for your participation.

Teacher giving out report cardsMentoring is off to a great start! There are 25 grade seven and eight mentors and 65 grade four to six mentees participating in the program. Every Thursday we meet at Shelldale to have lunch together in the gym. After lunch the mentees travel with their mentor to a different activity each week. Ask your junior student who their mentor is and what fun-filled activity he or she did each week!

winter hatPlease encourage your child to be prepared for outdoor weather during the school day. Parents of younger students are asked to ensure that your child has a jacket, hat and mittens when needed. Many parents ensure these are in the backpack at all times.
