SPRING IS HERE!
Spring has finally arrived and we can finally put away the mitts, hats, scarves and boots for
good!! We have opened the climber and the students are once again enjoying skipping, soccer, baseball and basketball as well. With the improved weather, a number of our planned activities will take place outside.
Students are encouraged to wear sun screen and a hat to protect them from the harmful rays of the sun. Please refer to our Dress Code reminder included in our last newsletter and please note that flip flops cannot be worn during gym classes.

About our School
Kenilworth Public School is a small, rural elementary school that serves approximately 115 students from JK - Grade 6. The roots of the Kenilworth community run deep with many of our parents and grandparents having been former students.
Parent involvement is greatly appreciated and widely accepted at Kenilworth. Parents support our school and students in a variety of ways from being classroom helpers and buddy readers to organizing and running community fund raising events like Harvest Moon in October and a Christmas Craft sale in November. P.A.T.S. Council has a strong connection to the staff and school and helps to provide some exceptional enrichment learning opportunities for our students like: Scientists in the Classroom, busing for field trips, Books for Birthdays and Home-School reading materials through leveled texts.
Teachers work hard to deliver strong program to our students. Students are highly motivated to perform at their highest level. Students in turn receive personal and group rewards for meeting expectations in home reading and homework completion.
