Grade 8 Parents' Night at Norwell District Secondary School, rescheduled to January 26 has now been cancelled due to a freezing rain warning in the late afternoon and evening. 

Welcome back to school!

Kindergarten Registration for the 2012-2013 school year will be held February 6th - 8th for both Junior Kindergarten and new Senior Kindergarten students. If you know of anyone who has a child who will be four or five in 2012, please have them contact the school (519-638-3067) as soon as possible to receive the Kindergarten registration information.

Kindergarten Registration for Drayton Heights Public School will be held on Monday , February 6, through to  Wednesday, February 8, 2012.  Please stop in sometime between 9:15 - 4:00 during these two days with your completed forms.  If this time is not convenient, please call Mrs. Turton at the school and we will try to make alternate arrangements.  Please note that registration must be done in person.  [ Read more about kindergarten registration (PDF) ]

Once again this year, we will focus our Christmas giving on helping others in our community by donating to the holiday tree in our front foyer. Students may place their donations under the tree and they will be taken to the food bank several times per week. Our Christmas Food Drive will run from Monday, December the 5th to Thursday, December 22nd. Please remember that our staff always appreciates your thoughtful cards and words of support, but welcomes contributions to this tree in lieu of specific gifts to teachers or support staff. Thank you for your assistance in sending some holiday happiness to others.
