Jr. Boys Win CWOSSA!!! |
The Junior Boys team finished off an amazing season at the CWOSSA championship. The team was able to win both of their round robin games, setting up a match up in the semi finals against Cameron Heights. In one of the games, the Spartans won 35-33. It was a true battle between two great teams. With the Spartans able to win their semi-final, they entered the final looking to cap off an undefeated season. In a contest where their starting setter was battling sickness and their starting middle went down with a severely sprained ankle, the team for the most part controlled the action and were able to win 3 game to one. It will go down as one of the greatest seasons in Spartan history!

Dancing in Time! |
Centennial's Dance Inc. put on another fabulous show on November 9th and 10th. If you were able to watch, the performance was an epic dance journey through the brief period of time in which humans have made earth their home. The three Dance Inc. executives, Haylie, Caite, and Emma, should be commended for all of their effort they put forth over the past couple of months. All of the choreographers did an amazing job creating 14 dances for the audience. A special congratulations goes to Ms. Knox for her artistic direction and all of countless hours she devoted to make this event such a success! |

Seniors Defend Their Title!
|
In the D10 final, at the University of Guelph, the Spartans took on GCVI. The Spartans came out strong in the first game, but it was a tough battle. The Spartans were able to take the first set 25-23. In the second game, the Spartans were able to dominate the early action and were able to get out to a big lead. GCVI was able to make it close, but CCVI took the game 25-21. In the final game, the team took control and easily won the 3rd game, 25-18. Great work by the entire team and good luck at CWOSSA on November 17th.
