Centennial Art students produced many pieces for the MSAC fund-raiser this year. They were at the Auction party on Saturday, Nov. 14th. The photo that is below is the student piece that earned the highest bid in the silent auction of student work.

10 awards of $32,000 ($6,500 annually for 4 years of study plus a $6,000 stipend for summer research assistantship)

National Scholarship online application

Established in honour of their donors or distinguished members of the University and are considered one of the most prestigious entrance awards at the University of Guelph. Selection will be made on demonstrated superior leadership ability and potential as evidenced through positions held, extra-curricular activities, involvements in high school and communities and reference support. Students apply by January 13 by completing the online application. Short-listed candidates will be invited to campus for an interview.

Who should apply: Students entering a degree program with a minimum 90.0% admission average who have made significant leadership contributions to their schools and/or communities.

ATTENTION GRADS!

University and College applications SHOULD be submitted BEFORE December 18th.  Instruction sheets are available in the Guidance Office.
If you need assistance with the application process - book a guidance appointment.  University applicants you cannot apply without your PIN# - pick it up TODAY in the guidance office.
If you have not yet submitted your 40 hours of community service - bring in what you have done and be prepared to explain your plans for the completion of this compulsory component of your diploma.
College applicants - you create your own password while applying - no PIN# is required.  If you have not submitted your 40 hours of community service - bring it in ASAP.

Apprenticeship Information Night, to be held at Our Lady of Lourdes CHS on Thurs. Nov 26th at 6:30 p.m.

There will be valuable information provided that will be of interest to parents, students and teachers and refreshments will be served!
