RE: UNIVERSITY ACCEPTANCE Last year, a number of grads misunderstand the “accept the offer on-line” instructions and did not complete the process correctly. They thought they had accepted the offer but because they had not completed all of the steps, the acceptance was not confirmed. So........in order to make sure that all of you understand the process, we are giving you these instructions. Please follow them carefully. Remember: your acceptance is not official until you get a confirmation number on the OUAC.on.ca website. Make a copy of the page with this number as your proof of the acceptance!

Fill in OUAC Reference# and PIN # and check the box; Log in now

Review and Change Choices/offers

Click on the red word “offer” for the program you want to accept

Click on the circle for the response “I wish to accept.......”

Click on the word CONTINUE

Must click on “Submit all changes/responses”

Read the 4 steps required to “submit” Click OK Read the entire screen

You will see the red word “UNSUBMITTED ACCEPTANCE” in the applicant response box beside the program you chose

Keep scrolling down - read and check that all of the information is correct

Click on “I verify that the information is correct as shown”

Read: “To finalize the submission of your changes”

Read: “Applicant Declaration” Click on “I agree”

You will see “Thank you, your application changes have been received by COMPASS 101"

WRITE DOWN THE CONFIRMATION NUMBER THAT IS GIVEN ON THIS SCREEN!!!

Check your status within two business days.
