In continuing on with a Spartan tradition, many students put in many hours to give some holiday cheer before everyone went on the break. There were many great singing performances, the game called park bench was played by our improv team, making many of our audience members laugh. There were also two puppet type shows put on. One was even done using black lighting. The afternoon was capped of by two dance performances, both vying for the title of best dance group. In the end the group of Ms. J. King, Mrs. Buddo, Ms. Franklin, Mr. Mulhern, and Ms. Parker won the title. A special thanks goes to Ms. A. King for all of her work organizing the event and to the tech crew giving the background support.

The Spartans hosted two volleyball tournaments, a Junior and Senior one. Both days saw many great matches. Both our junior and senior team were able to advance to the playoff round. In the Senior semi, the team was able to control the opposition and move into the final. In a very exciting 3 set match, the girls were able to win the third game and take home the title. Much like the Seniors, the Juniors rolled into playoff action and were able to win their semi-final match. In the final, just as exciting as the senior one, the team was able to pull out a close third game and win the championship. Great work by both teams.
