From the Principal's Desk

Well, here we are, days into the year and only 2 months left. It’s great to have had some
sunshine to dry up our playground as the students are ready to ‘get active, get fit.” The
fun never stops when you can play soccer, basketball, mini stick ball hockey, get the
skipping ropes turning, play in the sand pits and of course climb and swing and play on the
re-opened Creative Playground.

When you look at the May calendar you will undoubtedly notice that again, this month is
full of activity: continued skipping team demonstration throughout Wellington County,
practicing for our kick off assembly May 4th, VT’s Education Week April 30 - May 4, track
& field practices for junior students, grade 3 & 6 EQAO, the grade 6 trip to Jump at
Wilfred Laurie University, Green Legacy Tree Planting trips, and of course there is still
plenty of classroom instruction and learning happening.
